Dr. Bonne Mount has returned to Bluegrass Animal Hospital!
Dr. Mount received her veterinary degree from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 and was inducted into the Phi Zeta veterinary honor society.
She has worked in a variety of small animal clinical practices, including BAH from 2014-2018. Dr. Mount additionally served in the US Army Veterinary Corps Reserve from 2013-2019 in both clinical and agricultural roles, and continued to work as a civilian veterinarian at Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta, Georgia, until building her own 24 hour veterinary hospital there that she owned until 2023. Most recently, Dr. Mount worked as an emergency veterinarian at Animal Emergency & Specialty Center since returning to Knoxville in 2024.
Dr. Mount's clinical interests include soft tissue surgery and wound management as well as urgent/emergent clinical care.
Dr. Mount lives with her wife, 5 dogs, and 6 cats and can often be found with one or more of her dogs on a patio downtown or paddling on one of the local rivers.
